Yes I am a Democrat, so that makes two of us, if you are also a Democrat.

I'me an independent, voted Republican and Democrat in the past, including the most recent election. Happy to say that my son in the Navy, who never showed a stitch of political interest cast an absentee ballot for Obama - along with many others from his sub. While Republicans may be in the majority in military families, there is a very significant (around 40% last I looked) number of folks in the military who voted for Obama.

Contrary to what the Republican party would have folks believe, Democrats and democrat leaning independents can be patriots too!

I am independent but tend to be more Libertarian than Democrat or Republican. I vote for whom ever I think will do the best job regardless of party.
