i am a 44 year old new yorker, i am a civil service employee for 23 years as a mechanic.my son is first in family to join armed forces, I have little knowledge in the workings of the military so i am trying to learn what i can from websites like yours.

mixed feelings, proud of him for doing this on his own, but nervous at the same time because of certain conflicts & wars around the world.

    Frank, Welcome Aboard! I found navyformoms in searching for answers to my son's future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. I'm new at this and I hope this site will benefit fathers that come behind us.
