Pat thanks for joining us dads. I'm so glad to have the moms on here to keep us men in line. We will help in any way we can. So please jump right in share concerns, join groups, and show off your sailor. I hope this site will benefit you. Thank your daughter for me for her service. EG

A late Welcome to NavyDads Pat! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun and useful as I have. Explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! If you have any questions or concerns about your sailor and what she is going through...ask! I'm sure someone here will have the answer or can point you in the right direction to find out. I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric is a month into a seven-month deployment on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt and my daughter Kat just returned from her seven-month deployment on the carrier Abraham Lincoln. And Pat this is a great place to brag about your sailor as well! So join in and let us know how Ashley is doing! Be sure to check out the Daughters and their Dads group that I formed as a place for us to brag about our sailors- and we would really love Moms to join too! Best Regards- Paul

Thanks for joining Navy Dads on the road.. I haven't had many responses but it is hard to get on here very often as I do drive over the road. I spend a lot of time thinking about my sailor though and praying he is safe.

Hi Pat! Your sailors are in two of my favorite places. We were stationed in Hawaii and San Diego, among other great touristy locations. I didn't know Seaport Village had a webcam, so that was fun to discover on your page. I have wonderful, wonderful memories of both duty stations. I hope you have been or will be able to visit your adult children. I appreciate them serving the country in military service. I've not been to Florida, so am very much looking forward to traveling there next year with my daughters to see my son in his environment. Take care!

Well I hope your daughter gets an answer to her physical pain. It is worrisome when our kids are so far away and having those problems. And you being an RN, I'm sure you want to jump in and find out what the real problem is. I was a young mom when I navigated through years of military medical clinics as a dependent. I don't relish the memories. I'm anxious to be able to speak with my son, hopefully soon. Chat with you again soon!
