Florence, words can not express the sadness in my heart for your family. We will always be grateful for the sacrifice your son has given to this great country. He is a true military Hero and will never be forgotten. Us dads are here to help in anyway we can. Navydads is in the process right now building a memorial page to our fallen Sailors. Myself and member dadofchris are working together in this effort. He also lost his son while serving. If you are interested once this page is built we would love to honor Adam on it. It is brave men like Adam that make this the greatest place on earth to live. The sacrifice these Sailors make are unselfish. They do it so that others do not have to. Adam is why we call America " The Home Of The Brave ". That is because of your son. I thank him for his service and thank him for giving my children a brighter future.
    Sincerely, EG

Welcome to NavyDads Florence ! I'm sure you'll find the site as fun and useful as I have. Explore and make some friends, add your comments to a discussion or two, read the postings in the various groups-- even start one or two. I have! I'm lucky enough to have two sailors- my son Eric is almost half-way through a seven-month cruise on the carrier Theodore Roosevelt (CVN-71) and my daughter Kat recently returned from a seven-month cruise on the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72).

Adam is an example of what has made this country great Florence. My words cannot express my thanks to you for raising such a fine example of what we call a hero...someone that is willing to stand up for what he believes and to pay the ultimate sacrifice for that belief. We at NavyDads are honored to have you as a member Florence. May the Lord bless you and your familiy in 2009. Best Regards- Paul

Thanks for writing. I'm doing fine. A busy summer so far. Went to see my daughter and family. Had a great time with the grandkids. Went to visit the parents. Celebrated my dad's 79th bday and saw him march in a small parade with his fellow VFW. Saw my MIL who had broke her hip earlier this summer. Now waiting for Craig to go off on deployment. His first. Love your pics. God bless. Take care.
