Darwyn thanks for the compliment. I'm happy to be the one to have given us dads a home too. My son is currently deployed at sea on the USS Ronald Reagan and will be doing IA next year. This will also put his boots on the ground. This country is what it is because of young men like your son and mine. It is because of brave men like them that have made us the most powerful country in the world. Always remind yourself this. The Marines will never let anything happen to their Devil Docs. Your son is in good hands.

Darwyn, thanks for the kind comments and words of encouragement. We received word through my sons' wife that he has arrived at his base in Iraq (will leave out the location as I am just cautious about all the info unintentially given out on this site). He was able to make a call to her shortly after his arrival. So now we start working on some care packages and letters to him. We know he will have great opportunity to learn much and we look forward to the day he can make the return trip home and tell us about some of his 'adventures'. Thanks again, Ron

Justin has re enlisted for 3 years and is doing well at the Navel Hospital at Portsmouth. He is a PT instructor there and he loves his NAVY! Justin also become a Master Mason when he was home on leave back in February. As a proud Navy Dad seeing my son becoming a Mason just was heart warming. This young man has done his family proud.
