Michael, Welcome Aboard! I found navyformoms in searching for answers to my son's future. I just knew their had to be a site for dads like n4m's but I was wrong. So I started this site so us dads would also have a place to call home. I'm new at this and I hope this site will benefit fathers that come behind us. So jump right in share concerns, join groups, share info, and show off your sailor. I'm so glad to find out their are so many proud navy dads just like myself. I hope this site benefits you and your family throughout your sons journey in the Navy. Thank your son for his service for me and thanks again for joining us. Sincerely, EG

I've gotten one letter from Greg. He sent one to his Grandmother. I know they keep them real busy. there isn't much time to do anything, but the train they're doing. I've sent Greg a couple of letters knowing that he probably won't get them for a couple of weeks. Next week I plan on writing more because they should be earning liberties by then and recive mail as one of those liberties.

Michael my name is Gary and my son Nicholas will PIR on 03/13/09. He is on ship 14 Div 115. We have received two letters from Nick so far. He has told me he is extremely tired when Sunday rolls around. I gather not much time is available to write but he does make an effort and has said he is hanging in there. He also has not received any mail. I don't think mail call will happen until about week 4.
