Best guess-He carries the company banner mounted on a pole during drill for the company to"guide on"

We just got a letter from our son today, and he tells us he is the relief RPOC, Athletic Petty Officer, Yeoman & Guide On. Does anyone know what all this means!?
OK - I just read some other articles and found out what RPOC and Yeoman are. I am guessing the Athletic PO means he has some responsibility for training, but I can't find anything about Guide On.
