Billy - Welcome to Navydads first and foremost :). My son has already graduated (PIR 6-20-08) but I know another parent on here with a son PIR 8-15-09, her name is Cindy Chaney. Maybe her son is also in your son's Division. Hope this helps to get you started!

Hi Bill, My son will be graduating on Aug 15thalso. He is in Div 290 ship 11. My son is attending A school in GL. He will be an AE after A school.

Cool, good to hear from you. We are going to try and be at graduation on the 15th. I am trying to figure out the best route to miss some of the traffic in Chicago. Our motel said we cant check in untill 4pm . Hope to see some of you guys there...BJ

Bill, looking forward to seeing you at PIR. There still is construction around Chicago. I was there a few weeks ago. Off hours is your best bet. We're driving also from Jersey, so we'll both looking for the easy route. God Bless and traveling mercies.

Goog to hear from you. Ricky is in Div 294 ship 10. What is PIR? I hope to meet some of you guys while we are there. What is AE? We will stay there the weekend with Rick and we will either come back home on sunday night or early monday morning. My wife is in a wheelchair so we shouldnt be hard to spot at graduation. Bill, PIR is Pass In Review. The new sailors will pass the officers and parents in parade format. It is awesome and very moving to witness. Our son Alan is staying at GL for A school for Aviation electronics. I will keep an eye open for you. See you on Friday. We will be staying at Rennaisance Inn on Waukeegan.
