Hi Dave, well pre congratulations on your soon to be sailor. I am attending my son's PIR on 8/15. I am sure you are excited to see your child as I am to see mine. My son is in Div 290 ship 11. It would be great to hear how great PIR was. Please let us know.

Hey Glen, PIR was great, the ceremony, very impressive. Of course the best part was seing and spending time with my son Dean. There is so much to do up there. The most fun we had though was a Cubs game at Wrigley Field. It's quite an experiance and I highly recommend it. Also, not far from the ball park is a place that serves the best pizza I've ever. The place is Geno's East. If at all possible, youve got to get you some. Well Glen, enjoy your weekend and don't forget your camera. You'll need it.
