Navy Dads

The day after the PIR we are told that they go straight to the airport at 1am. Do y'all know if we are allowed to get into the gate & wait with him till he flies out?

Trang,

My son was Grad n Go. We spent some quality time after graduation, and then I had to get him back on base. They were leaving early in the am to the airport, some to O'Hare and others to Midway. Make sure you know where they will be flying out off. My son was flying out of O'Hare at noon on Saturday so I arrived at O'Hare at 5 am and spent several hours with him at the USO. The USO is on the second floor. Ace rental was great. Since I still had the rest of the weekend before flying home, they allowed me to leave the car I rented from them at their location, take their shuttle to O'Hare, and then take the return shuttle to pick up my car. No extra charges. Best of Luck to you and your family, and our family's thanks to your loved one for serving our Country.
