Jay, Glad to hear you finally got the form letter. It's always a big relief to get some real info so you can start making hard plans for your trip to PIR. It's your first look at recruit hand writing.

I was impressed with the fact that I could actually read my son's hand writing for the first time in my life.

yeah...when I saw the writing on the letter I swore he made a deal with some bunkmate that if the guy would do the writing, my son would shine both their boots. No way does my son write that neat. Then again, maybe that's why it took so long to get the letter. The first class in Navy Boot is handwriting 101.
