Navy Dads

I have belonged to some of the groups for awhile but the last week or two I cant post anything.   I had psoted a couple of times about the Meet and Greet in Kans on saturday.  Maybe they didnt like me posting that since it started on Navyformoms.

I'm not sure why you would have any issues posting anything....your discussion here posted fine. For groups you have to be a member of the group to post, other than that there should not be any issues on the site-end of things.

In particular, let me know what groups you tried to post to and I'll take a look at them.
I cant post on the Single parent group or the Kans group. I have posted in both groups before.
Karen,

pass along the info you want out to me, Paul, or Jim and we'll post it in the notes. We can also broadcast a message to all members on the site. Not sure why your having a problem posting. We would never dis-allow anything because it came from N4M's, most of our wives are members there. We dads just figured we needed a place to call home as well. We're all on the same team!
I was just telling them that theres a Meet and Greet in Topeka Kans on Saturday and all the dads are invited. If anyone is interested check out the events on Navyformoms.

On the Kans one I was just laughing that theres only 4 people and 3 in the MO group and that Im from MO and a mom so that really makes the group small. I was just responding to the last post.
I still cant post. The meet and greet is over and they missed a good time. We even had a requiter come and answer questions. I just went to a couple of groups but I found out today some didn't know about foxsox, how the kids love them and that they will mail to Iraq and a few other places free and I couldn't post anything. I click on the add comment button and nothing happens.
have you re-booted your computer and tried? I know sometimes my system does not repsond to certain commands and a re-boot has taken care of it. The other day I was not able to select anything to copy to another location so I cussed and rebooted and all was well again. Think that is more a function of your system not responding correclty to your command....maybe a Java issue with your browser settings...I get all kinds of Java errors myself, but then my system is pretty old (about 7 years) and overloaded and overworked!!

Ive had my computer turned off many times since tried posting the other day. I can also post to Navyformoms with no trouble.
very odd...I would try:

1) join a group you are not currently a member of and try to post something....just a test word or something

if you can post to the new group, then I'm thinking somehow the system got 'confused" with something in your "account"....in that case

2) try unjoining one of the problem groups (there is a option to leave the group), and then re-join...then try to post

if that still does not work we'll have to get NING involved and I'll try submitting a help request
Ok Im off to try those things.
I had almost given up and tried again tonight and can post. Nothing different from last week when I was trying to post about the meet and greet in Topeka. Thanks for all the ideas and trying to get it figured out.
Glad it worked itself out Karen, must have been a cliche somewhere.
