So glad justice was served by the hands of our very own Navy SEALs! If their was ever a debate who had the greatest Special Forces in our Military, not anymore! Job well done Navy SEALs, America Thanks You! Our Navy SEAL's went into Pakistan and conducted swift justice for all those who lost loved ones and their lives in the attacks on 9/11.
America Thanks You!

Oh and who better to handle a burial at sea but our Navy Seals! Love the irony of that!
That post was not directed to you Denise it was directed to someone that posted a few posts up.

Thank you Navy Seals! Great Job!
Great Day!! Kodos to the seal that nailed him. Hoo Yah.
Takes a while to dig a deep tick out but in the end the results payoff.
PS. Hope where ever they disposed of the body that there is no fish kill.
I think we need to be careful in naming ships involved in any of this.

Yes it is a great day for the USA! As a proud Navy Dad, as well as a Navy Vet, I salute the efforts of all who were able to work together to make this happen. It is indeed a great day to wave the Red White and Blue.
I must also say how proud I am of everyone, past, present, and future who stand up to say, "I wan't to serve this great land." You are all heroes in my book, and I stand tall to salute each and every one of you.
God Bless The USA, and the men and woman who serve.
frm the medai:
From Ghazi Air Base in Pakistan, the modified MH-60 helicopters made their way to the garrison suburb of Abbottabad, about 30 miles from the center of Islamabad. Aboard were Navy SEALs, flown across the border from Afghanistan, along with tactical signals, intelligence collectors, and navigators using highly classified hyperspectral imagers.
After bursts of fire over 40 minutes, 22 people were killed or captured. One of the dead was Osama bin Laden, done in by a double tap — boom, boom — to the left side of his face. His body was aboard the choppers that made the trip back. One had experienced mechanical failure and was destroyed by U.S. forces, military and White House officials tell NationalJournal.
Were it not for this high-value target, it might have been a routine mission for the specially trained and highly mythologized SEAL Team Six, officially called the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, but known even to the locals at their home base Dam Neck in Virginia as just DevGru.
HOOYAH, Navy SEALS!!!!!!!!!
You are the greatest!
Unbelievable! I am so stoked. What a story it's going to be for these guys to tell their grandkids that you were one of the Seals who took this plague off the earth! Go Navy Seals!
So proud of those Navy guys that went in last night--what bravery. Hope yhey make a movie about the shooting of Osama Bin Laden. Now it takes some kind of nerve (guts) to repel inside the compound.
Perhaps or at least not a allie of ours, but I think the aspect of creating any kind of shrine to him was more of what they were afraid of. About the only semi official group to come out against this mission and in support of Bin Laden was Hamas. That being said, Muslim's don't mark their graves, even for tribal leaders or national ones.
I'm just thankful it turned out so well and the Seal team took no major injuries. I can remember Operation Eagle Claw, the failed rescue attempt of our Iranian held hostages in 1980. Sad day that was.

I also read that no one would take his body
