Navy Dads

My son's PIR was 2/8/13. He has been at NATTC since 2/9/13 and still hasn't received a class up date for ABH. He has taken an interest in collecting those Challenge Coins. I purchased a few to get him started and made a nice oak display for him. But, we are unable to find a Challenge Coin for NATTC-Pensacola. We have checked at the NEX on base and searched online. I found one on eBay, but the flip side was for 'Chief Petty Officer' and listed for $50. We can find NAS-Pensacola and a coin for nearly every other school. But, not NATTC. If anyone can help us, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Jim will definitely let you know if I run into a NATTC Challenge Coin. Just in case you're interest we do have a Group here for ABH http://www.navydads.com/group/aviation-boatswain-s-mate-ab...

Thanks. I did not know that. I will explore.
Jim,
Put the word out and looking for one that someone wants to part with. Most of the guys will buy the ABH coin there at the school house. They have some nice "ABH it's hard to be humble". Will keep you posted, welcome to being part of the greatest rate in the Navy.

ABHC Brad Grayson.
Jim, found you the NATTC coin. Send me a email and we can work out the details.

Jim,

I had to jump in this conversation because I recently put together a deal with NWTMint to sale their coins on NavyOutfitters.Com. I'm selling their coins cheaper than their own site because they understand what I'm trying to accomplish with the NavyDads store concept. I want our store to have the lowest prices any where online for us Navy families to be able to buy Navy merchandise at the most affordable price's possible.

So Brad, I hope I'm not stepping on your toes on this one but Jim I can possibly get that NATTC Challenge Coin made for your son. I just put together a second deal with a major challenge coin company and will have their products in the store soon. So between the two companies I'm sure your son and his shipmates could design the NATTC challenge coin that they want and I can have one of these companies make them for our Sailors. And I bet I'll be able to get them made cheaper than any one else can.

Like Brad mentioned, inbox me if you want to look into the possibility of them creating their very own unique NATTC challenge coin. I would love to help!

I'm glad this thread was started because I'm sure it will be a hot topic for many years to come. I've also been adding to my collection lately as well. And one of these companies is actually in the process of creating some of my ideas as we speak, LOL! I'll start a challenge coin group on the site later today for us to show off our collections, ideas, etc. I'm in the process of adding many more coin holders, etc to the store so the group will be a good way to keep up with what's new in the challenge coin world. So I'll give us a place to share how crazy we are about them, LOL!

I hope every one has a great Easter!

Not stepping on any toes at all, the coin I found was created by the school house, and is being sold for $10 or $20. Good luck with your sales and looking forward to seeing what you come up with. We're looking at some ideas for some coins here at NAS Sigonella, maybe we can work something out.

With all this Challenge Coin talk I just took up a new hobby hehe... I'm raising my hand to get an NATTC challenge coin as well. Elmo the store looks great! :)

Thank to all that replied with offers and suggestions. I believe that, thanks to Brad Grayson, we have found my son the coin. I will be back if it ends up not working out for some reason. Thanks again for all your support.

is there a  site to order coins from? i have silver rounds  with navy on them but looking for more .

                                                                            thank you

Thank you, Tom. This was 2-years ago. I am not sure now, but, at the time there were none of those specific coins available for retail. A Chief at NATTC at the time contacted me and surprised my son by calling him in and presenting him with a personal coin sent in by another generous person. That Chief and my son are no stationed in Japan.
My apologies. I thought that you were replying to my question. I didn't see Mr. Adams' post earlier.
