Phone call yesterday TG 10 Ship 14/ Div 62, PIR 01/16/2015

Got the " I 'm Alive" phone call after  3 weeks yesterday from my IT SR...was so great to hear from him. I almost had a wreck when I saw the (847) area code pop up on my phone.  We had 7 VERY fast minutes, but he sounded tired, but in good spirits. He said those new boots break in awful fast when you march all day, lol..he let us know not to expect another call until after Battle Stations, which I figured anyway.  In my excitement I forgot the questions I had, but that's ok, he is a as good as he can be and getting through it.

Its crazy the emotional range you feel when your only child zips out of your life like a fart in the wind after 18 yrs of being just his mom and I.
