PIR 10/18/2013 Group
Invitation to all parents who's son or daughter is now at RTC with a PIR date of 10/18/13 to participate and network before the big day. This site has so much great information, but it is always great to network with other parents experiencing the same apprehensions and concerns all of us have.
My oldest son Anthony is currently Going through RTC on Ship 12 Div 397. Since he is the first to enter military service we were apprehensive but after reading everything here our apprehension was alleviated. Can't wait to see what a man he will become by PIR. So proud that he decided to serve his country and become a sailor in the US Navy

I think bootcamp forum may be the best location for this thread, but either way, count me in. I just got the letter and we are PIR 10/18 and intending to attend.
