YES!!!!  Just got "The Call"!!  So very proud to say I have a son that is a United States Navy Sailor!!!!!

So very proud of his drive and determination.

I think the weather channel has it right, cold with snow showers. Not sure where you are coming from, but here in Indiana middle of state, we have had the coldest temps in 2 years. Pretty much the same as Great Lakes.

I have been trying to keep a check on the weather too.  We are coming in from NC.  What are snow showers?  Is that like on and off snow?  Snows for a while, stops for a while, then snows some more?  I don't think they are calling for much accumulation.

While many people are starting to desend on N.O. for Mardi Gras & Super Bowl, we'll be flying out @ 9:35 a.m. tomorrow. But since we're going nonstop to Milwaukee, for the last couple days I've been able to pull up Wisconsin DOT's traffic cams along I-94, and as of this afternoon it didn't look bad at all. & they are expecting some snow, but some forecasts don't give very much accumulation. But further North & everyone east of Lake Michigan have been getting a ton of lake affect snow!

was running my AC on the drive home today....and last week we froze.......

Actually, right now, if your coming from the east to get to Great Lakes, you will more than likely be passing by where I live in South Bend, Indiana. We are getting lake effect snow off of Lake Michigan right now and will get 4 to 6 more inches by morning. So by Thursday morning, (tomorrow) you will run into it then once you get west of us, it'll be pretty clear all the way into GL. Good luck!

AT 6:50 A.M. Central time: General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee is FOUR degrees farenheit!! MINUS 13 wind chill!! BRRR!! 9:35A.M. flight out of NOLA! See ya'll tonight!
