Tim, MY name is Otto Boslow, my son is Curtis he is also in ship 11 div 284. Will ask him about your son also. I have been talking to Ricky and both our sons have talked. We are trying to make it 9/10/12. Going to try and make it to the Sarges Meet also. I have asked Curtis to try and get word out about Navydads.com to all the others in the division. Hope all the young men are doing great. Take care. It's nice to hear from people that have son's doing the same thing. Otto
Tim I put it in a letter for my SR to see if he knows yours, but it will be next week before I hear anything.
Hi tim, it's been over a month since my last call. the letters say mine in fine and that's about it, lol Few more days and this stage should be over, next week can't come fast enough.
Yes Tim, the calls were nice, that should have helped them with home sickness and the empty nest syndrome for us parents. Our wednesday mail call came a few minutes ago, Thursday. 3rd PFA passed! He passed the second PFA but I was still worried about the 3rd, I shouldn't worry but I have to, must be the dad syndrome. Check list, Hotel, check...cash, credit card, check...Gate Pass, printed. Now all we need is that immortal phone call "I'm A Sailor", then packing and hitting the road for a nice, short, 10 hr drive. My B-day is the 10th, so this will be the best present ever. Hope to see you there!
It's official, We are Proud Parents of a New U.S. Sailor!!
Congrats. My son is in Div 283. Glad that they completed Battle Stations last night. Ready for PIR.
