bill my daughter is in ship 14 but division 305,her pir is 9-3-09

I received my 1st letter yesterday, and Chris said that he passed his swim test, and the two tests for e-1 to e-2. he said he's doing fine, and that while challenging, it's one day at a time, and just rollin with the punches. its amazing that actual letter writing is a lost art it seems.

so my ex and i received conflicting letters, and maybe we because the dynamics of our relationship vastly differ, shes always"babied" him, and i grew up with a father that told me to suck it up and drive on, and thats what i've always been like with him, so for our letters, he tells me everything is great,a nd going fine, but to her he said he's really homesick and ws having a hard time. i prefer to go with my letter, especially since she kind of embellishes especially with the baying...

sorry to rant, it just seems that I've found no other parents in the same div???

J, so what have you been getting feedback on? they should be almost done, BS in 2 or three weeks right?

PIR is always on a Friday....battle stations change accoridng to division number

I got 2 more letters yesterday telling me something about firefighting and firearms coming up i think next week and then after that battle stations and then graduation. YAY. But I did find out his A school might be at the great lakes for 7 weeks and something about Pensacola after that for 21 weeks. He confused me. And that his Pass might be longer than he thought. He thinks his PIR will be until the 7th or 8th instead of the 6th. So i'm trying to find out to change my flight plans if that's correct. Our daughters 2nd b-day is the 7th so i hope he can see her for her birthday. Have you found out about your sons A school??

what i've heard is that PIR is on the third, if pushed back it'd be the 11th. my son is doing the same, will be at GL for 7 wks then on to FLA for A school. i got my 2nd ltr yesterday, but my ex writes all the time and gets more ltrs back. i write 1x wk or so. i'm getting tix today for PIR.

ticket change insurance is pretty reasonable and you might want to consider getting it....might be cheaper to spend the $20 bucks or so and be able to alter you flights than to have to pay the various fees if you need to change your PIR plans.....

I've only heard about those kind of changes for a holiday weekend.........

Well it's Labor day weekend so that's probably why they did it. I checked the navy site just to make sure and it said thursday

havent heard anything more, bs this week right? cant wait, i'm flying in to mi, wi. and either renting car or taking train
i have to fly back out here to ca sunday.
