PACIFIC OCEAN (March 14, 2011) Sailors move cases of drinking water to helicopters on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The U.S. Navy is delivering supplies and conducting search and rescue operations in mainland Japan. Ships and aircraft from the Ronald Reagan Carrier Strike Group are conducting disaster relief operations in the coastal waters off northern Japan following an 8.9 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tsunami. PACIFIC OCEAN (March 18, 2011) Machinist's Mate 2nd Class Jack Veselik, right uses an IM-271/PD Radiacmeter to detect possible surface contaminates on Lt. j.g. Jason Harrel, assigned to the Black Knights of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 154, aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76).
