Warning! NAS North Island Mobile Phone Voice & Data Connectivity...
When in NAS North Island, be super careful and look at what your mobile phone is telling you (the carrier displayed on your phone)!
You may get a "Welcome abroad!" message with cost details etc...thus you may get nailed with roaming and additional data charges...
On part of the island, your phone thinks you are in Mexico, and on other parts which could be just footsteps away, you're in the US hehe...
Just a friendly advice to make sure when you're fiddling with your mobile device, you are doing it stateside :)
Contact your provider for more details...

Jim yes it did! I had to look twice. At first I said huh? thought it read aboard but no, "abroad" hehe... My wife got the same text message too on her phone from her provider...
