I got all three from US NAVY News. Took awhile being the computer GURU that I am. Downloaded them to my computer. Told him to take pictures and call when its over. Gary T.

I did not enlarge any of the pictures. I tried to get the high resolution one off the Navy's web sites. Some however are from a facebook fan page. They are from several locations.
I hope those casualties get to sit up and look out on the back.

Nick just called at 13:35 Illinois time and said they were cruising around the islands. He and Michael and other sailors were made to look like they were injured. He said they were going to be flown to Pearl Harbor to the hospital and once the exercise was over they would be flown back to the ship. He was very upbeat, couldn't wait. Chuck did you enlarge the pictures. The narrow one can be made large in high def. Gary T.

Nice pics! I wish I could take nice clear fireworks pictures.

I don't know yet Chuck. Nick hasn't contacted me yet. I saw he was posting on Face Book but no word to me yet. I will let you know when I find out. I posted some pictures of the Erie during the 4th of July fireworks, take a look and tell me what you think. Gary T.

Gary,
How did the mass casualties drill go? Did those sailors get a good first ride?
Comment by Gary T. on July 7, 2010 at 8:49pm
Thanks Chuck. I have already been snooping around. Nick and his buddy Michael are two injured mass casualties and are scheduled to be airlifted off there ship to another ship then to Pearl. Sounds like fun. It will be there first ever helicopter ride. According to what I hear usually the new guys don't get to do this. Gary T.
