I have a prayer request. There's a lady I've known forever. She's very sick. On top of that, she's being abused by those she has given everything to. Lies about her abound and seem to come from all sides. Just breaks my heart. Seems there's nothing I can do alone. But maybe, if we join in and lift her up, we can help. She's well over 200 years old, but way too young to die. Her name is AMERICA... and I love her. Re-Post if you love her too. Yes, America the beautiful

@Andrew- my son and fiance are headed your way very soon.  Eric has a report date no later than 22 Aug to HSL-37....hopefully you guys can meet up and you can help him figure out the area and what to do and not to do....might work out for housing???

The best way to spend/pocket BAH out here in Hawaii is to get a place for "X" about of dollars and then spilt it two if not three ways.  Meaning two or more roomies.  That is the best way.  The windward side of the island is expensive so that is what I will have to do...

Hey Gary things with Andrew have settled into a routine since they returned from deployment.  He has had quite a spring. Air Warfare pin, a letter of comendation, promotion to AE3, and an outstanding Eval.

Marcy My son is an AE with a a Patrol Squadron of P-3 Orions housed on board Marine Base Hawaii.

Hello. everyone. I am new on this site. I do belong to a Hawaii site on N4M's as well. My son is stationed in Hawaii for another 2yrs and is on his ship right now. He is on the Port Royal. Anyone have sailors on that ship? I actually got to talk to him earlier today. It wasn't a great connection on skype but at least I got to talk to him.
