Hey y'all, our son graduated from Pensacola on the 7th. He was 3rd in his class. Next week, he flys to Norfolk and will catch a MAC flight to pick up the Eisenhowe as a member of VFA-103, the Jolly Rogers. His mom and I are sure enjoying his time at home.

Thanks Bob. It's getting pretty soggy there but no drastic moves have been needed.

Welcome Ralph.  My daughter is AE3(AW) with VAW 126.  She enjoyed her time in P'cola...she faced a similar wait as your son. It will pass quickly.  Speaking of P'cola NAS...how are things there considering the flooding?  Is you son okay?

My 3rd boy goes in tomorrow. He is in Aviation electronics. Hopefully he can get sibling duty with his brother the AE3.

Great Dan a new AE3!!! Welcome Ralph.  My son Andrew passed his E-5 this spring.

Welcome Ralph, tell him to be patient and occupy his time as productive as possible. It is really boring for them there. It will go by fast though.

@ Chuck, thanks for asking. It went well! He is now AE3(AW) ! Wonders how deployment does for productive studying...

Howdy all from the newbie of the group. My son is now at P'cola waiting to class up. He was a little down at first when he heard it might be 2 months before his class starts. I told him about all the square miles of floor space i stripped, waxed, and buffed waiting for my A school to start way back when and he didn't feel so bad.
