John was in the group that started A school on Monday. I am thinking he only had like a 5 week hold. Not to bad. He was excited to be moving again. Today is his 19th birthday. Very strange to have to tell him happy bday by text message!

Just got a call from Pat. He classed up and is starting ETA on Monday!!! Yeah!!! He can hardly wait. He got the middle class of the day and will be in class from about 9 am to 6:30 pm with liberty on both sides. Some of his roommates got the night class. He thinks he may change rooms because they seem to be keeping classes together.

no no Nick TrevorPIR'd in august 08 and graduated from Cshool in November of 09 and was on his Ship 3 weeks later. He spent Thanksgiving on the open sea. I was a yearlong journey but it is one that he has truley enjoyed

Are you kidding? He PIR'd 2 years ago and is only now going to C-school? Oh my God!!! My son just PIR'd in Dec. I think he would go nuts if he doesn't get out of GL sooner.

its seems like a long way till they get there I can remeber it like it was yesterday when we went to Trevor's PIR almost 2 years ago then when he called me on the evening that he graduated a school and said dad I made it. I'm one step closer to becoming an ET. I got C-school to go and I'm on my way to San Diego in 2 weeks. I love you dad and we will see you in 2 weeks on our way to San Diego for our next stop in this ride.

My son said a new group of ET's just classed up to ETA and he is just 2 weeks behind them. Yeah! Almost there

well how is everyone doing? I haven't seen anything from this group in a while so I figured I would pop in and see how everyone is. We got word today that Trevor, Sage and Danika will be moving into military housing that is off base. This will allow Danika to get outside and be able to play in the yard instead of the Balcony of their apartment. Hope all is well and to the 2 young ladies, Seeky and Rose keep your heads in the books and get them lessons done there is a light at the end of that long dark tunnel.

Freaking cold wind off the lake, and 15 to 17 yr old kids dont read supply list for drek. We killed a lot of fire wood in 12 hrs.... Its also funny to watch kids from the burbs who think the best western is camping..... I asked for a hammer to drive the stakes in a little deeper, kid walks up with a rock... oy

Well Rosie got her wish. She transferred to the Franklin yesterday. Apparently it is an old motel that has been converted into enlisted quarters. She was thrilled to see things like a microwave oven and ironing board again. I suppose the simplest pleasures are the best!
