dude Seeky was down right cranky! why do I have to move when no one else is, (I think she'll miss Rosie) Told her it is what is tis... she upset that when she's the last cadet through the door she cant holler "last thundercat HOO " I tolkd her now she can say "Last Cole Hole!" She says she's about 7 days ahead of schedule..... Dont know if that makes any difference or not.

Yeah, Rosie was pretty bummed out when she found out that she was still stuck on the Enterprise. I think she is the last from her PIR group still on the ship. The other day some guy who followed her into her DEP group at home showed up and I think he has moved already. It doesn't make any sense but I told her it can't last forever so just hang in there and study hard.

Leave is authorized on a case by case basis. The student's barracks has final approval authority. However, the leave request must be routed through the school house. If a student has authorized leave but is classed up earlier than expected and the student will now be in a student status when the leave was due to begin, the leave will be cancelled.

Are the ET students on hold for A school allowed to take leave while they are waiting?

Nick, there are a few factors that will go into your son's hold time. As we stand the current hold for ET students is 2-3 months. However, with our current format, he should class up in less than 2. I hope that is helpful.

My son Patrick finished ATT yesterday. How long a hold time until ET A school begins?

PO Officer I can't thank you enough for taking the time to post that and to talk with John. I only wish that I could have seen that look on his face. To funny. Both his mother and I are so very proud of him and want to see him make the most of his Naval career. I had asked him what he would be doing while on hold and he wasn't sure. We had also suggested that he should find out if there are any"extra" classes or courses he could do to put a few more ribbons on that uniform. Any advice you have is greatly appreciated. We will help in any way we can.

Larry - I met John this morning. He finished ATT. I wish you could have seen the look on his face when I dropped your first name in his lap...=). He seems like he will do just fine here. His military bearing was top notch and his performance in ATT was quite good. I will be keeping an eye on him once he gets into school which unfortunately is going to be a couple of months. We are still working on getting the AI population under control but with the summer surge starting to get here, it's tough. It is very important that he stay motivated during his time on holds. Holds can be quite boring. hopefully you can help us keep him focused. =)
