Hey, hey, talking about my karaoke here what? >.>

Anyway, here's the word from day 1 ATT--CPR and First Aid training. I'm re-certified to pump your chest, and the AED trainer here's better than at the summer camp I counselored at two summers back--that one was a kleenex box and tea bags. These talked!

Tomorrow, class starts, and I'm excited, but a little nervous. I'm hoping to use the mando O/L (optional learning) time to get ahead, though if the Powerpoint FC1 Chain showed us is accurate, the first few mods are math review, including Fractions? Hoom...hope it's not tooooo boring.

If it doesn't violate OPSEC, just where do the ETs go for C school? California? Virginia? Florida?

Larry, you are very correct. I also got another question about 'C' schools I'll address here. ATT performance does not play much of a role on their order selection but 'A' school does. We usually get our orders in batches of 80 or so. Once we have them allotted to us, we will sit the appropriate number of students down, selected by who has been here the longest, and they select the school they want to attend. The picking order is determined by their average in school. We commonly see the top person sitting around 96%. We use that as a motivating factor to do well in school. The better you do, the more likely you are of getting the orders you want. So to answer your question Clay, where your daughter is going for 'C' school is entirely up to her.

John didn't have an easy time in high school. Teachers always used to tell his mom and I that he was probably the smartest kid in the class but wouldn't do the homework. He got C's and a lot of D's. Graduation was iffy. But his attitude is all together different now. He was told that the top of each class get the better duties. Good luck to both of the new ET's.

John didn't seem to think the ATT portion was all that tough. He is scoring in the high 80's on his tests. He should be done soon.
