Seeky, thanks for the info. Rose called and said that her quarters are like a college dorm except maybe a little bit more beat up. Are I-Pods OK? Can I send things to her via overnight mail?

Bob, I'm in the indoc barracks right now. Two to a room, like a small dorm room. Community heads down the hall. No clue how long we'll be in holding here. Though, do send phone and computer off to her as soon as she offers address--we're authorized to have them.

Welcome to the group Bob. I can't say for sure on the dorm situation my son Trevor was only in his compartment from end of Aug.08 - 1st of Oct 08. he was able to move his wife and daughter up with him and was able to live ashore with them. Seeky Wolf might be able to answer that question better for you as she herself has recently moved across the street.

New to the group. Rosie PIR'd Friday and is on her way across the street for her ET training. Am I right that their new quarters are more dorm-like than that horrible compartment she just left?

yeah Im thinking guys can handle hoses a lil easier, never seen so many small females in my life!we're talking Submariners!!!!! 5'7 or smaller! The FC hoses would be really hard for them to handle

Chris is waiting for ATT to start, still wasn't sure when his start date was when we talked to him yesterday. He also thinks he's going FC, though he doesn't have anything in writing that backs that up. He says that's what everyone keeps saying, they're all going FC.
