Does anybody have a sailor graduating “A” school next week?

John arrived in San Diego on Tuesday to finish his final portion of C school.  He reports to the DDG-100 USS Kidd on Monday.

Yes.  I address all packages and letter to my son with "ETSN" before his name.

I do apologize if this question has been asked before... my son is an ET(has his orders for his C school but on hold)  and when mailing him something should I put ET before his name? Or is there something else that we are supposed to put before their name? I have searched the internet, both Navy mom and dad sites, might not be phrasing it in the right way! :) thanks for your help!

He didn't get anything but 8 months in SD. I guess somewhere along the line they will let him know what's next!  He is probably on a need to know basis!

Nick, your son didn't get the name of his ship with his orders? Trevor got the name of his ship with his orders when he was headed to San Diego. Maybe your son will get lucky and not have to fly out right after C-school to catch up with his ship like Trevor did. Trevor finished C-school 2 weeks before thanksgiving 09 and was in transit the friday before thanksgiving.

My son got back to GL and had orders waiting. He leaves on Fri for San Diego. He doesn't know anything beyond that but thrilled to be coming home to CA. Class starts on 1/11/11. Sounds like a good day
