My son Sean graduated Friday. We're hoping it isn't too long to class up. Plus we're rooting for Norfolk...
Then hopefully he will get C School in San Diego like our son did and you can all be together again. And congratulations on expecting another little sailor!
John, yes super frustrating b/c i've also been in So Cal while he is great lakes and i just found out i'm pregnant (he knocked me up while he came home on leave last month) so now i'm extra impatient.
We know what you are gping through Marcy. Our son graduated A School for FC at Great Lakes on December 16th, but didn't get his orders to Start C School until May. It was very frustrating to all, especially since he was at Great Lakes, and his wife and daughter were in SOuthern California. Be patient, his orders will come eventually.
Any updates from anyone? My husband graduated A school April 6th and is still on hold waiting for C School orders in Great Lakes. some of his classmates recently got their hard copies... hoping my husband gets his orders soon.
My Son Brock, FCSN Perryman graduated May 11th from FC "A" school at GL.s Brock graduated with honors second in his class. His Brother Gavin is a Navy Corpsman, HM Perryman is serving with the Marines at Camp Lejune N.C.
My youngest daughter just finished FC A school yesterday - we are extremely proud parents. My oldest daughter leaves for Navy boot camp in 13 days. This is a very exciting time in our home. Hoping that the C school hold times remain a bit long so my youngest can see my oldest PIR sometime in June.
My boyfriend is graduating FC A school in 3 weeks and I was wondering how the C school process goes. Does anyone know what the current hold time is for C school? Will he receive his orders of his specialty and which base hes being relocated to right away, or closer to his ship date? Any help will be greatly appreciated!! :)
My son graduated from A School in September. He was home for 2 weeks of leave during the holidays. He arrived back at GL today to find orders for C school in February. Made for a great New Year's Day gift for him and the family.....
