So, I haven't heard from FC1 Officer in some time. I deleted all the info here because it is probably wildly out of date. When I can get more current information I will post it here again. I'll see if my son can get me some new information.

I think he's got plenty of time to sort it out...sounds like no one goes anywhere until Feb now.
What did he put down on his dream sheet, not that that's EVER had any bearing on where you get sent...LOL

I know - I know, Vicki! Wes's whole class has received orders but not him. He can't figure that out based on his class ranking. He thinks his orders got lost somewhere, there is some kind of a hold on his paperwork, and a whole lot of other 'what if this or that' scenarios! Poor guy - they hate the holds!

More orders came out today, most were for Dalhgren

Yes, he's glad he has orders. Now he knows what the next step is :) And Momma's happy, since it cuts about 7hrs of drive time off when we go visit.
Can't wait till he gets home for Christmas. He took his oath a year ago yesterday, so this is our second Thanksgiving without him, and it still feels a little empty.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Jim, congrats to your son on the MK86 school. I bet he is excited to know ...what's next for him.

We are still looking for snow here :-0

Thanks. The MK86 is a 6 month school. He was hoping for a longer school, but 6 months is still pretty good.
So he should be there from Feb - July.

Jim - good news. Guess you all will have an especially nice Thanksgiving!
My son says about 1/3 of his class have received orders as of yesterday. Sounds like all orders so far are for VA.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving ALL! Doing the prep work in the kitchen right now!
