So, I haven't heard from FC1 Officer in some time. I deleted all the info here because it is probably wildly out of date. When I can get more current information I will post it here again. I'll see if my son can get me some new information.

Way up to Watertown but we did drive thru Syracuse to get here - we may need to look for Dinosaur this weekend!

Supposed to be a blizzard there on Friday :-0

BR...
I agree. But we all know the mantra...hurry up and wait :)
I'm sure we'll be the second people to know when Chris gets his orders :)

Mary, that's GREAT!!!
Drink a few Yueng Lings for me, we can't buy it in New England, and it's the best beer in america ;)
I forget where you said you were going to be, but if you're near Syracuse, Rochester, or Albany, hit Dinosaur BBQ...they've got it going on :)

Theresa, How long has it been since they graduated from A school ?

One of the ones who received orders today was in class with mine. He was the top student, though, so don't know if that made a difference. My sailor says, though, they are being told his class will get orders this week. We'll see if that REALLY happens. He sure is excited just the same!

I wonder how long the ones that got orders today have been waiting? anybody know?

Jim
I talked to James and he said the holdup on AEGIS is the housing. His class is leaving Dalgren in Jan. so are a lot of others as well as they are making the E5's and up in for retraining to move off base so they should start having orders come down soon. He said they are not full in the classes just in housing. He loves AEGIS and says it is well worth the longer training. Good Luck to Chris!
