So, I haven't heard from FC1 Officer in some time. I deleted all the info here because it is probably wildly out of date. When I can get more current information I will post it here again. I'll see if my son can get me some new information.

Just talked to my son and new orders are going out now. He said the top student is his class just received his orders today, along with another guy. They got SPY/Orts (or is it ords!?) My son's first choice was CIWS, followed by tomahawk, but then he liked radar, too. I think he would be happy with anything just to get on to C school.

Chris really wanted AEGIS, but from what info FC1 gave us, it sounds like AEGIS is pretty jammed up, so who knows? Aside from AEGIS, he'd want the longest school available ;)

I think my son is getting terribly bored, also! I think he got to where he really enjoyed his classes and learning about all he would do - eventually. Last time we talked he said he worked out for 3 1/2 hours and then went to bed! They will be more than ready when orders come. Jim - I'm waiting for your son's orders because then I think my son's won't be too far away. What does Chris want to do?

Glad the holidays are finally here. Talked with Chris this weekend and it sounds like he's getting bored with all the hold time. He's going to his uncle's in Ohio for T-Day, and then home with us on Dec. 17th for 2wks. Can't wait to see the young man ;)
