Clay, We will be taking info about family members attending graduation tomorrow during our dress uniform inspection. Arrangements are made based on the info we get. You will need to stop at pass and ID located outside the main gate in sheridan road to pick up a temporory pass. Be sure to have a 2 forms of ID, one with a photo.

FC1 - that is more encouraging news about orders than we've been hearing.

I've added a discussion thread about about Aegis for those that have sons + daughters that are Aegis bound. Wonder if our sailors will be in Romania or Poland at some point? And is this why Aegis is so full right now ---- are we ramping up for the future Aegis program??

Clay ---- there are no C schools at Great Lakes for ETs or FCs. Only A school, are you referring to it as C school because of ATT and A school? If your son is graduating from A school, he has to make plans in advance for you to attend by providing your name(s) to his instructors so they can add you to the guest list and make arrangements for you at the gate.

You won't be able to just go to the gate and gain access to the schoolhouse without prior arrangements.

FC1 How do I get on base Friday for C school graduation? which gate who do I talk to and so on... And are there any ET's grad and going?

Hello all, Got a little info on the orders issues. With TSC taking over the order process, they want to verify who is actually graduated and on hold awaiting orders before they put in another request to the detailer for orders. This should not take more than a week. The only 'C' school that is not accepting students right now is the AEGIS school in Dahlgren. The barracks there is full so they do not have room for any more students. All the other schools are taking students as normal. Several sets of orders to Dahlgren have been canceled already and it looks like the people with orders to report in January is going to get canceled as well. I will be sure to post more as I hear about it. Hope this clears things up a bit.

Hello all, Sorry it has been so long. Life has thrown me a series of curve balls lately. Had a death and a serious illness in the family within a week of eachother. I will look into the orders info. The process has changed here. An assigned CSCSU Instructor (and good friend of mine) used to handle all the orders and order picks. Now a civilian handles the orders and one of the TSC staff members does the picks. As soon as I have some info i'll let you know. Cross my heart...=)
