So, I haven't heard from FC1 Officer in some time. I deleted all the info here because it is probably wildly out of date. When I can get more current information I will post it here again. I'll see if my son can get me some new information.

Does he have a cell phone with him? If he does -- you can hear from him on a regular basis. Once they move to A school, they can have their cell phone and laptops.

As far as the process, they go to indoc first and from there they will start ATT (advanced technical training) then on to A school and for FCs they go back to ATT once A school is complete.

I hesitate to give information out on when it will all begin because the "holds" this year have either been very lengthy or somewhat minimal...I think right now the wait is not too terrible.

He already misses the hot weather back in AZ. Alex is graduating Phase I of ATT Monday and can't wait for FC A School.

FC1, what has been the wait lately to class up for A School?

E5 test is tomorrow for those that qualified to take it at this cycle.

What is the "average" score at the end of A School? Chris said he's running an 89 right now, with a couple of "easy tests to go!"...lol I don't think at this stage that 2-3 good test scores are going to move his average all that much. And honestly, for a kid who was never academically inclined, we're thrilled with his accomplishments.
Does 89-90 put him pretty much in the middle of the pack?

Comment by BR549 on August 31, 2010 at 7:42pm: Yes I think my son is going to get caught up in the Holiday Stand-down he will finish A school the middle of October and then ATT and I don't think any orders will come thru until the first of the year - FC1 I'm sure you know the answer.

Can't wait to see which C School he ends up with.
