So, I haven't heard from FC1 Officer in some time. I deleted all the info here because it is probably wildly out of date. When I can get more current information I will post it here again. I'll see if my son can get me some new information.

Comment by Mary, Proud Mom on August 18, 2010 at 3:31pm: For those of you that get the Military Channel on Direct TV, they are re-running a series called "At Sea" it will be airing on the 19th and one of the shows is Surface Warfare and the other is Submarine Warfare. They were produced in 2009 and will give you a great chance to see what our fleet can do when at sea.

The Surface Warfare show will give you a sneak peak at some of the weapon systems that the FCs work with.

No call yesterday was NOT good. And I was under "strict orders" NOT to text him...lol

Comment by Jay on August 10, 2010 at 11:57pm: Dear FC1 Officer: I am planning to visit my boyfriend during Labor Day weekend, but he is unsure exactly what time liberty will start for him. He should be in ATT school by then, and he expects to be in class starting from 3 or 4pm until 11pm or 12am. After class is finished on Thursday will he be granted liberty right away? And by what time will he need to return to base on Monday (or early Tuesday morning?) Also, because of Labor Day weekend, is there a possibility that classes will end earlier than usual? Thanks in advance!

Puffenbarger on August 8, 2010 at 9:40am: ty for the info sean and sorry but just got in from a cruise in the carribian yes we had a great time and talked to nat he says he got moved to another ship and is doing great and is five days ahead of everyone else and has like a 89.5 % grade going i hope he stays focused and keeps it up ty again
