So, I haven't heard from FC1 Officer in some time. I deleted all the info here because it is probably wildly out of date. When I can get more current information I will post it here again. I'll see if my son can get me some new information.

How is the transition made between a and c schools does the recruit move himself or the navy move him and his belongings?

LOL Jim,
We used to take leave for granted after A school but the way the orders have been this year - that is not always the case today.

Off to meet another FC momma for some coffee, have a great day all.

Jim,
If your answer was...it depends on the start date for C school -
that would be the correct answer!

FC,
Do they have the option of taking leave between A and C?...or does it really just depend on the starting date for C School? Actually, I think I just answered my own question ;)

Noelsnavymom - That depends entirely on the orders. The latest batch of seasparrow orders we got class up in Dam Neck, VA on 12 July. It's not really a hold. The students have to checkout of here and travel to their next command. It's usually not to long.

Metric butt ton? Does that mean they're being shoved up your......oh never mind. ;-)

Your posts are always well received here, FC1 Sean M. No need to ever apologize to us. My guess is if your new CO knows you can handle one metric butt ton, then you can probably handle two.

Good luck!

FC1 - If you don't mind me asking what is the average hold from A to C school right now?
