Hello all my son classed up @ATT 1st week of Jan after the holidays say's he thinks Att is 12 weeks any ideas out there?

The Kid finally "Classed up" for FC "A" School after completing ATT. The wait between ATT and "A" school was about 3-4 months.

Hi Mike. Welcome.
Zac finished ATT 9 days early. He said the beginning 3rd was the hardest part. After that it was all just pushing enter to get through the computer course. Now he is in wait more waiting for school to start. He is still excited and in good spirits. He was working at the recycling center. Now they have made him in charge of everyone who is on standby waiting for a class. He said 80 guys. Sure am proud of him. Hope every is doing well.

Hello. I'm new to this group and wanted to get signed in here so I can learn from the knowledge you all have concerning AECF FC. We just returned from GL as our son Wes went thru PIR on 12/4. He has been assigned to FC training and is currently in processing. He's been told he will start ATT school in a couple of weeks, but it looks like from the previous comments that may be changed. He's excited to get started.

Hello, I spoke to my son and he said that he is now scheduled to start ATT in 4 months. this seems to be the norm from what I have been reading. Hurry up and wait.

Not quite sure how long the wait is. Zac's PIR was 9/11. He just started his ATT in the middle of Oct. He expects to be finished before the Christmas break. ATT is computerized. He said he was 5 days ahead the last time I talked to him. He wasn't sure when he would be starting A school. He thinks he will probably be in GL for close to 2 years.

Hello my son PIRed 11/13 and is over on the main base waiting to get his school started any idea's out there how long the wait may be?

Hello all,
Just found this group. James just classed up for FC A school friday. He is sooooo happy. He PIRed May 15, and has been on hold for 2 1/2 months after ATT. He has made the best of his time but was still getting very bored. Classing up call was the besdt call we had since the "I'm a Sailor" call. Just tell them there is a pot at the end of the rainbow. Enjoy the time, visit with the family and friends via texting and emails. See the sights in the area. There are all kinds of museums and things in tharea. James has seen them all.

Just got a call from my son and his division passed Battle Stations. We are on for PIR on 11/6 and he will start FC A school on 11/19/09. He is also grad and go, so there is some possibility that he will get some leave while we are there. Feeling very fortunate that things are going good.
