I'm also flying out of Seattle and arriving at Chicago Midway about 5:20 PM. By the time I get my car and bags it will be close to 6:30. I called "Old Sarge" and asked if it would be worth the effort to make it to the meet and greet and he said that I should have plenty of time, especially in view of the fact that my hotel is located North of the meet and greet venue.
Don't feel bad about being almost 60 and having a son or daughter in boot camp. My 28 year old son will be in the same PIR as your daughter.
Enjoy the experience!
