Congrats Paul, we are so proud of our boys. Its nice people are starting to talk on here again. My son just got his third stripe, but no time to enjoy as they are with the Reagan strike group.

My son Alex got promoted today to Petty Officer 3rd Class.  So proud!  The adventure continues!  Anxious to hear what orders he will get.

My son Graduated A School in Pensacola today with a 97.5% and made Honor Student. Cant wait for his orders!

Just got back from GL to see my son graduate A school on Friday.  It was a very nice ceremony and I was very proud to see him and all the FC's and ET's reach this accomplishment.  We had a great weekend together and are now anxious to see what orders he gets.

Congrats Darrell on your son's graduation.  I'm off to GL to see our son graduate A school this Friday, can't wait!  He's so excited and anxious to continue his career and move on to the fleet.  Hoo Yah!

I just got flew back in last night from my son's graduation on 2-4-11. It was great to see my son again. I haven't seen him since Dec. 6th. It was a great to spend time with him again. It's amazing how we take that for granted when there home. Did not think we were going to make it in, or out. It was snowing pretty hard yesterday afternoon. But, they de-iced the plane, and we left. We were a half hour late leaving. Thursday was touch and go, because of that big blizzard that came through. My son was very tired but good. He was very calm, and I could see he was thinking a lot. I'm sure of the uncertanties of yet to come.

Thanks for the info and Happy New Year to All. My son and nephew still up at Great Lakes were here over the hoildays and we had a good time catching up on whats going on. They seem to be doing very well and have a few more months of school left before they find out where they go next. Thanks Paul for the link if I'm in town I will plan to go.
