My son was posted in San Diego in July from his A-school.  Does anyone know how holiday leave is administered?  Do all enlisted get leave at Christmas?

My son is retiring after 21 years in the Navy next month.

He is a Master Chief with a rate of CTT.  Does anyone know what happens at a retirement ceremony?  What are appropriate style gifts?

Any other info would be appreciated.

Hi everyone! My son has joined to navy 6 month ago. He has common  kid with his former girlfriend.Before he goes, he set up court agreement for his dad's rights and child support. Now, I don't think he is making more money then before besides some allowances he has. Are they should consider as salary too or not?

My Son is in A school in the anti submarine warfare class, he arrived on January 12th and didnt start class until the last week of january, 2013 at the San Diege Ca. base.  He has and no one will give him information on if he has a graduation that family can attend or even a graduation?  We are trying to plan travel and cant because its expensive and we dont have specific dates?  We have no idea if he gets leave and if so, how much after graduation before he has to report to his new base?

Individuals who fail to achieve a qualifying score on the DLAB can apply to re-test after six months. Requests for re-tests by individuals who have already made a minimum qualifying score are approved only based on documented military necessity, and must be approved by the appropriate commander (ie, recruiting squadron commander).
