Ana, use this link. http://www.vp26.navy.mil/ on the left side of the page click on "welcome aboard" then click on contact information and then it will show you the Ombudsman's email address. Use that and you will be able to get all the info you need. Just remember NOT to post anything regarding the ships coming and going on these pages. Use personal email only.. Loose lips sink ships! My sailor is coming back to JAX from Italy at the beginning of Junee. I would like to surprise him and be there when he arrives; however, I don't know what is it that I need to do, or where to be. I appreciated any guidance. Thanks.

i think every base has a public affairs office. the one for Boot camp is
RTC: Public Affairs Office 847-688-2405
Your sailors command should be able to get you this number

Anyone know what kind of paperwork you need to have in place with the Navy so you can get on base and be a part of the pinning ceremony for your sailor??
