For some reason my link did not work. On the main page next to where the picture slides are their is a box that says helpful links. In that box click on navy links. At the bottom you will see a link to PIR graduation. Go there and click on upcoming graduations

AZ the box comes first, which you have received. In about week three in boot camp you will receive the grad packet. It will have a parking pass, details on graduation, and his possible grad date. Your son will have time to let you know exactly when he will graduate. A lot of things determine when he'll actually graduate. It will always be a Friday graduation. This is a link to where you will want to keep checking for his exact grad date. It will eventually rotate to where it will show his ship and div graduation.

Hi Sam, welcome aboard! Sounds like quite a dilemna in Pcola. Not sure how to answer you, because things just aren't "normal" there. Who knows...in the midst of this delay, with a possible reroute to VA, she might get an opportunity to take leave. Would seem a shame for ya'll to have to wait through an extended delay, so we'll pray for an extra measure of grace and favor for Amy to be able to come home for a while.

As long as she tells her supervisor her intention to travel over a long weekend there should be no problem. 3 day liberty can be pretty common if waiting for school, 4 day liberty is usually held for special recognition. Pensacola is a pretty nice place too, make sure you travel to see her and spend some time on the beach!

my wife was supposed to go to Pensacola sometime between August 11th through the 13th but, for some reason got stuck in Great Lakes with some of her other ship mates until the 21st, is what she was told. Said that some of her ship mates that were *supposed* to go to Pensacola, got rerouted to Virginia... and was also told that if she got to go down to Pensacola, that there is a 3 month waiting period for her to actually get into a class... And that would mean that depending on how long her wait and how long her class was, she wouldn't be able to come home until after she graduates from her class... I guess my question would be, now that she has graduated, IF she gets a 3 or 4 day weekend and is not in a class... would it be possible for her to come home for a couple of day or two without having to take any time away from her leave? Or does she really have to wait until she actually gets through the class in order to go anywhere?
