For those interested...there is a public site to search for U.S. Navy Awards. The URL is U.S Navy Awards. Click on Personal Awards at the top, then on the right under Personal Awards History, click on Personal Awards Query. Fill out the required information and click on Search in the upper right corner. This link will also be helpful Personal Award Abbreviation Codes.

You can also search for Unit Awards but that is a bit more challenging to navigate.

I found out Monday that Andrew was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. Bravo Zulu son.

Hello all, just an update on my son. My Sailor graduated A (AWS) school, on hold awaiting to go to SERE then off to Norfolk to FRS. Hopefully he will get some leave in between... have not seen him since PIR back in January.

Airdales....as we come up to the Memorial Day weekend.....let us remember all of those serving and who have served. My son is deployed for his second Memorial Day...away from family....allowing us all to enjoy the freedoms we have. Bravo Zulu to all.

Thanks, fellas.....this has been enlightening...good cap to Mother's Day. Our airdale is somewhere in the Arabian Sea....due home later this summer.....happily.
