Tom, congrats to Brian on getting his wings. I am sure that his brother is proud and both had a very special moment when his brother pinned them on.

HooYah to Brian!!!!!!!!!

Son Brian earned his wings and is now a fully qualified Flight Engineer on the P-3. What was really cool is that his twin brother Kevin (who is a "nuke" on board the USS Ronald Reagan) got to pin him!

Thanks Chuck for your words. I know he is where he is supposed to be and he is doing something honorable. It's good to hear Vets have the same issues. He has already called me twice since he got there today. He is going to experience some great things while serving his country.

My son Jeff is in his last week at NACCS. He should find out what A school he gets on Tuesday or Wed. B/C of his vision he is fixed wing. So I'm told AWF, AWO or AWV. Didn't know what they were until I found this site!

Bill, we again cried when Jeff left on Wed. but it was totally worth it to have him home for 10 days. He was a little homesick when he got to P-Cola, I told him that was to be expected, if I remember all those years ago.

Not surprising Bill. Their track record is less than desireable on many levels. My experience has been that Southwest Airlines is the best if they go where you need to go!

I hesitate to mention the carrier because of the irony: American!

He needs to call the airline hotline/customer service or whatever its called and tell them what happened. Personal @ the airport don't know why they are talking about if they don't see orders and military a lot.  They have charged me as well.
