Andrew's squadron is due to begin arriving back in the states in the next several days. More new changes as he will finally get into his own squadron. I look for him to adapt and continue learning and growing into his career.
Intramural soccer started on the base this week. Andrew's first game was yesterday. Results are still unknown.

Thank you both Jim and Michele. Of course as a parent we are all proud of our sailors. Collectively they work together to protect all of us and freedom around the world. Their bravery is an inspiration to many, including and especially me. I selected these pics from others less military, but can upload scenery from the coast and towns if interested. Thanks again for your support.

Those were awesome pictures Brad! I am sure glad we have brave sailors to go up in the helicopters and planes :) so scaredy cats like me can stay on the ground hehe. I loved seeing the port and Japan, thank you for sharing.

I am not sure. I do not believe that there are any P-3 squadrons at Penesacola.

I just recieved some photos from my son assigned to HS 14 in Japan. As a Rescue Swimmer and AW he has a few shots from the Helo's they fly. They are recently uploaded and on my page. Looks like an adventure!!

I did a little reasearch yesterday. What I could find is that the first P-8 is a production modle for acceptance trials. (It will be converted to a duty plane at a latter time) This first plane is for the Navy to "try out" and the rest of the first order to be accpted based on the trials. I wonder who gets to fly it first?

Andrew tells me that he hears no immediate plans for the new aircraft.

That will make for some very big changes for all the P3 guys
