Greetings,

Since we have a few new ratings aboard I've added college credit information for AD, AE, and AW personnel. Please see the discussion forum above. Merry Christmas! Kevin

All the best to the families of "Airdales" during this holiday season. God's speed to all our men and women who have the special honor of serving in the Air! Brad

Andrew is still stuck at NAS Whidbey. The base website shows MISSION ESSENTIAL ONLY: Only Mission Essential personnel should report for duty. No one to sign graduate forms or orders. Nothing to do but wait

Many thanks to all our children serving our nation and keeping us safe. My daughter's Christmas will be cut short so she can return early to Corpus to complete some of her instruments and radio flights as she nears completion of Primary. We're all disappointed, but heck, she's going back to FLY! She loves it and enjoys the wonderful professionals she works with. Merry Christmas to all.

Greetings,
Merry Christmas to the Airdales group. I hope you and yours are well and looking forward to the coming Christmas season.
Andrew graduates from C school NAS Whidbey Island this Friday. He will be home for Christmas. His orders have him reporting to his first duty assignment at Marine Base Hawaii in Patrol Squadron 4 in early January. I believe that he is looking forward to actually getting assigned to a permanent duty station and beginning his career

Happy Yule Season Chuck! I'm sure your really enjoy your time together over the holidays....I know when Eric was out earlier this year we really had a good time...just kicked back, ate a lot, had some good beer together and really got to relate more as two adults than we had done before. I'm sure you'll have a great time- keep us posted about the changes you've seen in Andrew!

Andrew is finishing up C school at NAS Whidbey Island. He is scheduled to graduate on Friday Dec 19. He will be detached from the training unit and authorized leave. After a side trip with a Navy buddy he is headed home for Christmas!!!! We should pick him up at the airport Dec 22. We are not sure how long Andrew will be home. At least a week I think and may be till after New Years. He will then have to report to his squadron at Marine Base Hawaii.
I hope that ALL of you get to see your sailors during this Christmas season!!!!!!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Chuck

Michele,
Andrew graduated around Labor Day and received his orders in late September. He was home about 7 days then on to Washington State. He was on NAS Whidbey Island from early October till November 13 for C school class up. He is projected to graduate December 19. We think that he will be home for Christmas. He is planning a couple of side trips with buddies if he is able to get an "out of bounds" approved.
One other thing he is no longer in "student status". He is being treated more like a fleet sailor. More like an adult and less like a school kid.
