Battle Stations complete! Alyssa is a sailor. Next stop Pensacola.
Pic uploaded of my son's Grandfather 2nd Lt. Ed Krygier flying the first fighter jet, the F80. Just found this pic clearing out a famliy attic in upper wisconsin this summer. Thought I would post it for history! Grandpa is so proud of his grandson being a resuce swimmer.
Garrett is just now back to his home base in Japan from the 7th fleet's recent tour of the Pacific rim since May. Sounds like he may have some exciting news on his future orders! Waiting for the paperwork to get confirmed, then he will know for sure. Can't wait!
Chuck...so sorry I never responded to your message about Tinker. My son did his A school in P'cola. He has been at Tinker for over a year now and enjoys it. He will be graduating something next month and is going to be attached to VQ-3 Ironman Squadron. If your son is into sports...my son has played football for the command and also softball. He bought a boat and likes to fish. Seems like enough to keep him busy, plus his father lives in TX.
The latest update... MH-53 Helicopter Crash.
Very sad day... Helo Crashes Over Oman.
Please keep the Blackhawk community in your thoughts and prayers.
Chuck glad to hear you had the Navy's help in the time of loss.
Have not been on in a while. The Navy was amazingly supportive of us getting Jeff notified and taking care of leave!!! He spent time home unscheduled and is now back on scheduled leave, then A School in Oklahoma.
My daughter is now at RTC. On er way to becoming an Airdale.
