Got the letter...
Received the form letter today from my son. He is in Ship 02 Div 948. PIR date 9 October. Anybody else out there the same? He wrote a short note at the bottom saying he made the Drum Line so I guess he will be playing in the band at graduation. Really looking forward to seeing that. Mom is happy now that she can start writing him.

We hope we will get a letter soon . My son went to Great Lakes on August 11 and we think he will be in the same Pir as your son.

Just got the info... My daughter Naomi is ship 2 div 948... Sending out a letter ASAP. Excited and nervous. Thought it would be great to share with some in the same BOAT! PIR is 10-9!!!

August 11 was my son's ship date as well so your boy should have the same PIR date. Stay in touch. It's great to have other parents to communicate with who are experiencing the same feelings.
