I may be unique in the group in that my oldest son went through boot camp last summer and my middle son enlisted the other day and ships to RTC Feb 9, 2016.  Happy to share, & answer any questions as you go through this exciting time in your kids' life.

and my daughter went to RTC in '05 and son in '07....more members than you think with two in the Navy and we also have members with three serving

Christian was actually scheduled to go in early next Feb. through DEP program but i guess they needed to fill a MT class earlier.

My daughter left on Tuesday from New York to Chicago hang in there my friend we are both in the same boat together.....

Hi Robert and Charles,

My Son left on Wed (9/9) from NY. Got his box today, haven't opened it yet. I don't know if our SRs will be together as mine was told the weeks start on Thursday (kind of makes sense with a PIR on Friday) so his week 1 hasn't started yet. Just a matter of waiting for the letter with his address now.

Got the form letter over the weekend, Div 371 PIR 11/6, actually a week earlier the we had expected.
